Give to the Future CampaignAs you know, OTHS is a small community school and as such, there has always been a limited amount of money to enhance the learning and extra-curricular opportunities of its students. The school administration tells us there is a critical shortage of funds for sports equipment, specifically to repair and maintain the sports track at the back of the school. It has become over-grown and unsuitable for training – there may not be a cross-country team this spring we are told because there are no alternate training areas close-by. The other reality is that there is scarce money to support many other student activities, including students in need of emergency support, and opportunities to enhance subject appreciation, such as field trips, guest speakers and other support materials. There are many, many ways our financial support, and support in kind - such as the donations of time and materials - will positively impact the school and better the learning environment for the students. If you have a question on how you can help over and beyond money, please contact the school principal at 613.821.2241. Your contribution, whether small or big, will ensure that Osgoode Township High School continues to serve our community children in the most vibrant ways possible and in turn, generating proud and supportive alumni into the future.
